Captain Pascal Goger tells us that Shailen Sewlall is the ‘best chef ever’ on DOUCE FRANCE.  Shailen is from Mauritius and trained under Robert Lalleman, a third generation French chef acclaimed as one of the top seven chefs of Provence.  Chef Sewlall has been onboard since December 2006.

DOUCE FRANCE offers accommodations for 12 in six equal guest staterooms.  Each cabin has one queen bed which converts to two twins and a private en suite head & shower.

The Andaman Islands, numbering over 300, are located in the Bay of Bengal.  They offer spectacular scuba diving and snorkeling on one of the world’s largest coral reef ecosystems.  Because the Andamans are less developed for  tourism, the reefs are undamaged by human activity and teeming with sea life.
