JUST RELEASED – NEW 2007 CROSSINGS SCHEDULE FOR STAD AMSTERDAM Calling all sailors with a taste for adventure! Here’s your chance to experience real blue-water sailing. Working alongside the professional crew on one of three watches, you’ll take the helm, set sails and maybe even give a hand in the galley. Stad Amsterdam, a 250 foot, three-masted clipper ship launched in 2000, offers these three offshore passages: Join the ship April 18th in Terceira. You have the entire next day (April 19th) to explore. Visit the capital, Angra do Heroismo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Or explore volcanos in the northern part of the island and caves reaching a depth of 100 meters in Algar do Caravo.
