Just in time for Christmas, please welcome

S/Y AMNERIS
75' Alden ketc

The combination of her three en suite cabin layout and a crew with years of experience sailing with children makes AMNERIS the perfect choice for family cruising.  Aft, the full width master offers a dressing table/desk, many built-ins  and two three-quarter berths with a settee between them.  The master bath has a marble vanity and stall shower.  There are two upper/lower single berth cabins with generous storage.  Crew quarters with head & shower and dinette are forward of the galley.   The spacious main salon features a stereo with interior and exterior speakers and CD player, flat screen TV with DVD player and surround-sound, board games, and an extensive selection of music and movies. The coffee table converts into a dining table seating 8 comfortably for formal dining. Fabrics and decor throughout the yacht are fine quality with an English country house air set off by the rich varnished interior.

On deck, the cockpit and aft deck areas are huge and very child friendly.  The cockpit has high sides with latching gates. An extended dodger covers the forward seating area and table.  Going aft, the sailing cockpit can be open or covered with a bimini and fully enclosed with side curtains.

Captain Alex Frew, 42, Australian, and Chef Gemma Steel, 26, English, grew up in sailing families and have been working together on yachts since meeting in Palma four years ago.  Gemma comes from a family of excellent cooks.  Her grandmother catered weddings for up to 200 guests, and her mother teaches at a cooking school.  Her sister is a yacht chef and her brother is a yacht captain.

They enjoy having children of any age aboard, having worked the last two years for a private yacht owner with a young family.  Alex finds the beautiful, 10 foot Trinka sailing dinghy built in Mystic, Connecticut is perfect for teaching children to sail.   With fishing and snorkeling gear and lots of games, Alex and Gemma are happy to entertain children so parents can truly relax.  In addition to the crew's watchful supervision Amneris has full child safety netting for an extra safety measure.
