Changing crews and other news

AKASHAAKASHA, 76' catamaran.  Stewardess Mariette, onboard since AKASHA was launched, is the chef until Brett Williams and Veronica Chamberlain take command on April 1st.  

Mariette has been working as Rhalda's sous-chef for over a year now.  A recent guest reports, "My friends and I had the most wonderful time.  Fabulous boat, first class, brilliant, excellent food.  Cocktails - WOW!  Great crew." 

Open 4/18-5/22 and the month of June in Tortola. 

En suite accommodations for 10 in five cabins:  Owner's suite offers a king-size bed, lounge, spa bath and walk -in closet.  Four guest cabins have queen-size beds - one cabin converts to twin singles. 

SUMMER RATES:  $33,600/6     $34,300/8     $35,000/10  - all inclusive except specially requested high end wines, Champagnes and /or liquors and scuba diving.

Looking ahead:  AKASHA is available for New Years from 30 Dec in Tortola.

A truly classic 57' Hinckley yawl, Bandera will be based in Orient, New York (Long Island) for June and July for charter in southern New England.  Booked July 24-29.  Also available in Maine 8/14 - 8/20 and 8/26 - 9/2. 

Two cabins:  En suite master forward has a double to port & single Pullman bunk above.  Guest cabin has upper/lower singles and shares the second head and shower with the crew.  SUMMER RATES:  $10,000/2  $12000/4 plus all expenses.

We will have a full report when Karen Kelly returns next Tuesday from a "fam trip" on Demoiselles in Tortola.  Eight guests in four ensuite cabins. Two cabins have double beds with upper single pullman berths, two cabins have twin lower singles.

Two double cabins, one of which converts to a single with a day couch. The forward cabin's starboard bunk pulls out to a large double and there are a lower single & small upper double to port.  Two guest heads and 3 showers.

WINTER and SUMMER RATES:  $9,000/2     $10,000/4     $11,000/6 - Inclusive except bar, local taxes, dockage & communication.

One of the most beautiful sailing yachts ever. 

Three luxurious cabins, including a stunning master with a marble bath.  Two en suite guest staterooms have twin lower single beds that can convert to a queen size bed.  One of these also has an upper Pullman berth.  The master has an adjacent study that can be partitioned off to make a good size 4th guest stateroom with settee that converts to a double bed plus a pipe berth with another complete head & shower. 

Available in Capri the last two weeks of September, when the weather is superb, the summer crowds are gone and the sailing winds are back.

WILD TIGRIS, 78’ Swan ketch, is undergoing an extensive refit in France.  Removing the winches on the aft deck has freed up a lot of deck space, making room for two new corner seats. 

Lounging and al fresco dining will be more comfortable thanks to new cockpit cushions and a much larger cockpit table.  All new interior lighting brightens the interior and the salon’s new ‘home cinema’ will be an after dinner favorite.
